About Malarkey in Christmas River

It’s the end of summer in the cozy mountain town of Christmas River, but things are only just starting to heat up…

When a freak accident forces Cinnamon Peters to shutter her beloved pie shop right before the annual Christmas River Folk Festival, the pie baker extraordinaire is left with a ton of repairs and an uncertain future. That is, until world-famous country star Jimmy Malarkey unexpectedly strolls into her shop, offering to play a free concert to help raise funds for the bakery’s renovation.

But the bit of good fortune doesn’t last long. When another accident leaves a close friend fighting for her life, Cinnamon quickly realizes that something sinister is lurking behind the scenes of this year’s festival. And soon it becomes clear to Cinnamon that nothing – and no one – is what they seem.

A wolf in sheep’s clothing is wandering the quaint streets of Christmas River this September. Will Cinnamon and Sheriff Daniel Brightman figure out what’s going on before someone else gets hurt? Or will this year’s folk festival go up in flames?
